About North Light Community Center

North Light Community Center, which provides programming for children and all age groups, moved into the process of design so quickly that the Design Team had to race to catch up with the enthusiasm of the participants.

Located at 175 Green Lane, North Light had always been surrounded by a solid macadam yard. Because it was raised up with retaining walls, there was always concern over depaving, because of the possibility of water being absorbed and then freezing – possibly pushing the walls out.

Engineers participated and solutions were found. Before the design was even completed volunteer work teams were beginning the project.
