about edling park

Located on the corner of Shurs Lane and Terrace Street, Edling Park was gifted to the Central Roxborough Civic Association in 1993 by the sons of Albert Edling, with the understanding that the park would be named after their father. The park is nearly three-quarters of an acre, with steep rock outcropping.

The agreement with the Edling family also ensured that the triangular piece at the corner of Shurs and Terrace—about 100 feet in either direction—was to remain undeveloped as a passive park.

Today, the park remains completely undeveloped.
