There is over a thirty year effort that has been underway in Roxborough and Manayunk to improve and build more trails, improve our canal and locks and to help preserve and maintain our greenspace areas and parks. This has resulted in improved trail areas, restored and newly built park and greenspace areas. Some recent projects are Manayunk Canal Projects, Venice Island Performance and Recreation Center, and the Manayunk Bridge Bike and Pedestrian Bridge.
There are projects funded and pending and other projects in the pipeline that the community wants to see move forward. We are going to list pending projects for now.
